'Teach em young': Watch this baby hit what could be the tiniest mana wave to his māmā

He's even got his pukana sussed!

How young can we start teaching our tamariki some hearty culture? Apparently when they’re still in bibs and nappies.

In a crack up video reposted to Instagram by @kiwi_vibez_aotearoa, baby Wyatt is egged on by his māmā to throw a mana wave her way.

After much anticipation with his “pukana on”, Wyatt pulls through at the last second, flicking his fingers out to execute what could be the youngest and most adorable mana wave we’ve ever laid our eyes on.

“AAAAAAAAAAY,” his māmā burst out in excitement.

While he most likely doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing, Wyatt can drink his milk and nap comfortably knowing his māmā and the rest of Aotearoa are proud as.

“Teach em young 😂😂 churr," the page said alongside the video.

“Yay... throw the hand 😆 cute kid,” one commenter wrote.

“Bros gonna be the meanest fullback ever known to mankind😭,” another joked.

A third added: “He said chur cuz 😂.” And wouldn’t that be some mean first words?!

The mana wave has made, well, waves recently with a group of teachers getting amongst it at Polyfest last month.

To begin prizegiving on the Māori stage, a powerful Te Ngeri a Kawiti haka was performed by kapa haka tutors from the groups competing.

In the video that is now sitting at a solid 222K views, the group finished with a hearty mana wave.

It truly is a move for ALL ages. Imagine how powerful little Wyatt will hit it when he grows up.
