Diggy Dupé has just released his new track 'We the City' and what's better than getting big fan John Cambell to listen to it for the first time on-air with the Mai Morning Crew.

Two months back Mai Morning Crew asked John Campbell which Hip Hop or RnB song has his vote for the #1 spot for this year's Mai Hot 1000.
He said, 'Kendrick Lamar - Alright'.
He then further shared how much he loves our local artists like SWIDT and Diggy Dupé who have created banger music 'that makes you joyful every time'.
John explained how growing up, music was always from elsewhere, people from other countries singing about their hometown, and now we've got our artists like Diggy Dupé who are talking about our places.
'That's why I like Diggy Dupé', John said.
"Although He does say, 'I grew up in gutter'. Diggy you grew up in Grey Lynn g" fellow Grey Lynn resident John added, which had us all in stitches.
