Hamo & Sammy need no introduction as Roots/Soul veterans, having shared stages like One Love festival during Hamo’s time in kiwi icon band Tomorrow People, the pair now come together to collaborate on a head bopping earworm. The track was written by Sammy alongside Matt Sadgrove and explores the lighthearted fun of using dating apps.
The track stands as Hamo’s first solo release of the year following last years ‘Feeling Alright’ featuring Kings which debuted #16 on the Hot 40 chart and Te Reo version ‘Ora Ai’ peaking at #14 on the Hot NZ Chart. Prior to that, her Platinum collaboration on Stan Walker’s ‘Choose’ in 2019 has now amassed an incredible 12 million streams.
