Residents of Hawaii have been mistakenly alerted via their phones a missile was inbound.
BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII... SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
CNN producer Amanda Golden posted a screenshot of the alert on Twitter.
After finding out about Hawaii's ‘digital disaster,’ the Mai Morning Crew wanted to find out if anyone else had a ‘digital disaster.’
Some of the texts and calls were crack up, including:
I send my son's 65 years old daycare teacher a text saying "I hope you're naked when I come home"...
I accidentally rang my mother in law saying why I didn't want to go to my mother in law's house for Christmas.
