Promoters Duco have announced a pay-per-view cost of $59.95 for the Joseph Parker vs Andy Ruiz world title fight in Auckland next month.
They'll also be releasing a further 422 tickets to go up for sale on auction site TradeMe, all at just a $1 reserve.
"We think that price strikes a good balance in recognising the significance of the moment in time, and at the same time helps us to further mitigate the risk that we've got around staging this event," said Duco CEO Martin Snedden.
"There was a lot of criticism and comment around the step up from $39.95 to $49.95 for the Takam fight, and yet the pay-per-view numbers for that fight were by far the best we've had for any Parker fight."
The heavyweight clash for the vacant WBO title between Parker and Ruiz will take place in Auckland at Vector Arena on December 10.
