The Warriors just revealed their 2024 heritage jersey and it pays tribute to a legendary kit

It's absolutely fire.

Aotearoa’s favourite team and their fans are gonna be looking skux during the upcoming NRL season.

Today at Go Media Stadium Mount Smart, players Bunty Afoa, Tohu Harris and Wayde Edgan debuted the One NZ Warriors brand new 2024 heritage jerseys. To celebrate the club’s 30th birthday, the new threads pay homage to the team’s original away jersey.

Features such as the white colour, retro collar and the font on the chest all replicate the 1995 away jersey.

The team just posted the jerseys to their social media and fans are frothing them.

“Oosh,” one person wrote. “These look solid.”

“That is mean!!!” said another.

“I’ve still got the original one but these are mint,” a third added.

One difference between this jersey and the original is the team’s name on the front, rather than the sponsor’s name. In ‘95, the Wahs repped DB Bitters on the jersey. Today, One NZ are the main sponsor, but they decided not to include their logo front and centre (there is a big one on the back).

“The One NZ and Warriors sponsorship is about so much more than a logo on the front of the jersey,” said Jason Paris, CEO of One NZ. “We are two great organisations that have united for the last 25 years to create something special - a community, a legacy and a deep bond.”

“It’s about the best of Aotearoa, the best of the Warriors and the best of One NZ.”

For One NZ Warriors members, the jerseys just went up for sale now. For the rest of you, you’ll have to wait until 10 AM on Valentine’s Day to cop one.

Last year, the team revealed their home and away jerseys for the 2024 season and they are fresh as too. Up the Wahs, baby!
