The viral Biscoff hot cross buns have dropped in NZ supermarkets so that's US for easter fam

Get in my puku NOW.

I’d devour a pack of any and every hot cross bun, and these new ones going viral... Ooft, say less!

Just when you thought Hot Cross Buns couldn't get a better upgrade, some legend had the idea to pump them full of Biscoff spread. They're already sold out online (for now) but are available to grab in four-packs at Woolworths/Countdown if you can manage to eye a bag on the shelves.

Tiktoker @bynessa sent the buns viral on TikTok, with her video of breaking open the bun oozing with Biscoff, attracting over two million views and hundreds of thousands of likes.

Commenters are saying they've gotta grab the buns right now, but a few Biscoff haters aren't having any of the hype.

“I need these in my life,” one person wrote.

“I'M GONNA GET THIS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING,” said another.

“They're vegan friendly too which is AMAZING,” a third added. “I'll be eating these every day.”

“BISCOFF IS NOT THAT GOOD,” one more claimed. “STOP MAKING EVERYTHING BISCOFF.”

Some lucky peeps who have already tried them reckon the amount of Biscoff isn't the same in every bun, but we'll be using that as a mean excuse to cop heaps of them so you're sussed either way.

I mean, you can also just buy Biscoff spread and slap it on your own hot cross buns, which will be exactly what I’m doing if the pre-filled ones stay sold out.

The start of this year has been awesome for Kiwi food. Just last week, Maccas started selling Happy Meals for adults, and Tip Top brought back the Grapefruit & Lemon Fruju.

So yeah, if you catch me munching on any of these for the next month, mind ya business!
