Takeoff, one-third of Migos, has been shot and killed at the age of 28.
The rapper was at a private party in Houston at 2.30 am when the shooting took place. Two other people at the party were shot and taken to hospital, the Houston Police have confirmed.
“We are still in the process and early stages of this investigation, trying to gather all the information we can, and we are looking to the public’s help.” said a representative for the Houston PD.
“I can tell you there are rappers at the party. I don’t know if they are involved in the shooting, but like I said it’s still the early process of the investigation.”
