Temuera Morrison working for his cousin's concreting company while waiting to return to the US

The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought the world to a stand still, with many people stuck in countries and situations they'd rather not be in.

Legendary Māori actor Temuera Morrison is one of those unlucky ones stuck in the middle of the pandemic, and he's been spending the lockdown period in Aotearoa.

Unable to get back to the US to work, Uncle Tem has been sitting around getting bored of doing nothing so he decided to get stuck into some mahi.

But he's not starring in a new film or TV show, instead he's picked up a bit of concreting mahi for his cousins company.

Yesterday a photo of Tem was shared to a concrete workers Facebook group, with the caption stating:

"Jango Fett aka Temuera Morrison on site with us today. He can't get back to the US due to Corona Virus and was sick of sitting at home in NZ during lockdown. The boss is his Cousin so called him into work with us. Being an actor all his life, this is a different world to him, but he jumped at the chance to try something new. At our yard we form squares for local plants to unload excess concrete. It's great for practice and doesn't matter if you stuff up."

Shout out to Tem for picking up a new line of work and getting stuck in while he waits for the US to sort itself out! We can imagine it's probably his shout for smoko most days too...
