It's been a tumultuous past month for A$AP Rocky, after he spent upwards of 3 weeks in a Swedish prison following an altercation with locals. And this morning, the A$AP Mob frontman was officially found guilty of assault after weeks of speculation.

Complex reports that "Rocky and his co-defendants have been given a suspended sentence after being found guilty. Furthermore, per on-site reporter Maddy Savage, he will be required to pay damages to the victim. The determined damages to be paid come out to SEK 12,500(approximately $1,303 US)."

"The assault has not been of such a serious nature that a prison sentence must be chosen," the court said in a statement regarding the decision Wednesday, per BBC News. "The defendants are therefore sentenced to conditional sentences." Rocky is now subject to a probationary period of two years, with the court stating the to-be-paid damages as being for "violation" of the man's "integrity and pain and suffering."

Despite the guilty verdict, it was determined that that the rapper would not need to spend any extra time in prison. He will be paying a minor fine and is set to remain on probation for two years.

The Harlem rapper has also issued a statement following the verdict, taking to IG to express both gratitude for his support, and dissapointment with the overall result.

"I AM OF COURSE DISAPPOINTED BY TODAY’S VERDICT. I WANT TO SAY THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE WHO SHOWED ME LOVE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. IMMA KEEP MOVING FORWARD. THANK YOU TO MY TEAM, MY MANAGEMENT, ATTORNEYS, LABEL AND EVERYONE WHO ADVOCATED FOR JUSTICE. 🙏🏿"

While the situation itself was unfortunate, it's good to see that Rocky has managed to come out the other end relatively unscathed.
