Yeezy and Dre working together? LESSSHGOOOO

Two heavyweights of the hip-hop world are joining forces, with both Kanye West and Dr. Dre revealing on Twitter that they have plans to release a collaborative project called Jesus Is King Part II.

It's the first time the two have worked together. The surprise news comes less than a month after Kanye released Jesus Is King, which focused on God and Christianity. Sounds like they'll be continuing that theme based off the collab project's title.

Ye's love for Dre has been well documented, with Kanye writing this about Dr Dre in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Artists.

I first met Dre in December of 2003. He asked me to produce a track for the Game. At first I was star-struck, but within 30 minutes I was begging him to mix my next album.

He's the definition of a true talent: Dre feels like God placed him here to make music, and no matter what forces are aligned against him, he always ends up on the mountaintop.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter has exploded with people reacting to the news.

Watch Kanye debut 'Water' at Coachella earlier this year during his Sunday Service.
