More than 20 years after dropping his debut studio album, Eminem is still leading the pack when it comes to shifting units. According to BuzzAngle Music's 2018 Year-End Report, the "Kim" rapper sold more albums than any other artist last year.
He earned himself a mind blowing 755,027 units in album sales. K-Pop boy band BTS landed at No. 2 with 603,307 units; Chris Stapleton and Metallica followed with 577,287 and 539,861 units.
Half of those sales came from his hugely popular surprise album Kamikaze, which finished 2018 as the fourth top-selling album of 2018. But that also highlights the fact that half of his album sales came from his earlier work such as The Marshall Mathers LP, The Eminem Show and Encore.
Which goes to show, good music lasts...
