There's no sugarcoating it, Tekashi 6ix9ine is f**ked. He's got more charges than a rechargeable battery and it looks as though he ain't getting out of any of them. The "GUMMO" rapper has recently faced significant backlash from just about everyone, but some friends and colleagues have stood by him, most famously Nicki Minaj.
Minaj collaborated with 6ix9ine earlier this year on the track "FEFE," and the two maintained a seemingly close relationship since then. After the arrests last week, Minaj took to social media to voice her concern and notify fans that 6ix9ine's upcoming album drop will be pushed back (for obvious reasons):
"For reasons beyond the music, the record company will hold off on putting his project out for now...
Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your mother, daughter & her mom during this time.
Shortly after, and to be honest, predictably so, fans went IN on the "Chun-Li" rapper. The common theme seems to be people calling her "pedophile apologist," with one Twitter user putting into question some of Minaj's previous relationships and affiliations:
Some fans then decided to drag more than just her relationships, bringing her music into the roasting circle at the same time. One fan even went as far as claiming her most recent album Queen, "is still flop and has lots of skip..."
Some fans weren't so harsh, and in true internet fashion, a new meme was born. The meme focuses on the idea of Nicki "distracting the guards so Tekashi 6ix9ine can run away."
