Idris Elba has been named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2018.
The Thor star and rumoured next James Bond is the second man of colour to be awarded the title in the last 10 years, after Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in 2016.
This decade's other honourees also include Chris Hemsworth (2014), Channing Tatum (2012), Bradley Cooper (2011), David Beckham (2015), Johnny Depp (2009), Adam Levine (2013) and Ryan Reynolds (2010).
Controversially, the 2017 winner was country singer Blake Shelton.
Elba joked about accolade, telling People: "It was a nice surprise - an ego boost for sure.
"I was like 'Come on, no way. Really?' Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, 'Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.'"
He also said it meant a lot after he got teased while growing up.
"My name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, okay? I got picked on a little bit. But as soon as I could grow a moustache, I was the coolest kid on the block."
Elba is the 33rd person to be named People's Sexiest Man Alive.
