Wu-tang Clan is hitting Aotearoa in just over a month, and amongst celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their classic album – Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers), the group have dropped a new make-up line.
The unexpected make-up drop is a collab with Milk Makeup and features eight luxe lip colors that reflect old-school NYC underground. To promote the make-up they have teamed up with the insanely talented Teyana Taylor who stars in a kickass Kung-Fu inspired visual.
“We wanted our first collaboration to be with a seminal icon who moves between culture and music and helped shape a generation. It had to transcend time and culture; it had to be a global idea, but it also had to be New York at its roots, because that’s where we’re from.” the press release read.
The names of the lippies are Wu-Tang influenced:
- CHI (high shine red)
- SACRED (rose gold glitter)
- FIRE (matte orange red)
- FLOW (high shine rose beige)
- FREQUENCY (purple glitter)
- SOURCE (high shine burgundy)
- CYPHER (high shine brown)
- RUCKUS (high shine hot pink)
It's seriously the collab we did not think we needed!
