Kendrick Lamar looks to be getting close to finishing a new album, according to TDE label-mate Isaiah Rashad.
In a Instagram Live session with TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, Rashad and Tiffith discuss upcoming releases from the label, specifically Schoolboy Q, SZA, and K Dot himself.
Rashad tells fans: "[ScHoolboy] Q finna drop. SZA’s hair is green, so you know it’s going to be fire. You never know what’s going to happen."
He then went on to say "[Top] just played me a whole Dot album, damn near," something Kendrick fans everywhere can be excited for.
This comes a week after the TDE CEO took to Twitter to announce that fans can expect to at least 2 more projects from his label, although he is trying to get 4 in total.
It seems unlikely that Kung-Fu Kenny would release a new project this year, especially considering the release of DAMN in 2017, and the Black Panther soundtrack earlier this year. Fingers crossed for early 2019!
