With the Warriors stranded in Australia and forced to play the NRL season without the support of friends and family, to show the team they still have five million fans here in Aotearoa, 100 strong converged at Mount Smart Stadium to perform a mass bespoke haka for the boys.
The haka was arranged by their major sponsor Best Foods and was specifically designed by āpeta Wehi from The Haka Experience, to tell the story of our unity overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a tribute to the Warriors for their sacrifice.
