In what is only his first year of eligibility, Eminem has been named as one of the inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2022.
As revealed through the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website, Em is being inducted alongside Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Eurythmics, Duran Duran, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, and Carly Simon in the performer category.
“This diverse group of inductees each had a profound impact on the sound of youth culture and helped change the course of rock & roll,” said John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
“Their music moved generations and influenced so many artists that followed.”
The 2022 induction ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 5 in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater.
