First it was Beaver (Stephen Donald), then Richie McCaw and now Daniel Carter.
Our very own Crusader and All Black great Daniel Carter announced today via Instagram and Facebook that he is getting his very own film hitting New Zealand’s big screens August 29th.
The trailer is yet to be released, but Carter said today that the film is set to follow him during his redemption campaign in 2015 Rugby World Cup. Carter hadn’t had the best runs in terms of World Cups after being ruled out due to injury in 2011 and the team being knocked out in the 2003 and 2007 tournaments which he was apart of.
“Carter described the documentary as an 'intimate, all-access' look into his personal life.”
Carter still remains the all-time top point scorer for Super Rugby and International Rugby and has recently been playing overseas in France and Japan. He currently bouncing back from neck surgery and on May 16th he became an Officer of the NZ Order of Merit.
