Dan Hooker is preparing for toughest fight of his career against Ross Pearson at UFC Auckland
The 27-year-old Kiwi is stepping up to the lightweight division for UFC Fight Night 110 on June 11 to face experienced Englishman Ross Pearson.
Hooker (13-7) is coming off a defeat to American Jason Knight in Melbourne last November, but he has relished the move from featherweight to the 70kg division
Having started his MMA career in that weight class, the step up feels natural for the 'Hangman'.
He also has the luxury of spending his entire training camp at home under the guidance of coach Eugene Bareman at the City Kickboxing gym in Auckland.
