New Netflix show 'Snowflake Mountain' pushes spoilt Gen-Zers to tears in the wild

How will they survive?!

Netflix has just released a new reality show, Snowflake Mountain, where clueless young people are placed into an intense survival retreat just for our amusement - oh and a massive $50,000 cash prize.

The show's participants are shown as being spoiled, unprepared, and dramatic which led their parents to trick them into the show.

The Netflix synopsis reads: “Welcome to Snowflake Mountain. A place where ragtag stuck-at-home snowflakes with zero life skills have to step up to the plate.

"Built as a wilderness boot camp, our snowflakes will compete to see who has what it takes, competing for a life-changing prize and the chance to kickstart their life and liberate their parents.”

The back-to-basics camp serves as a harsh lesson to how spoiled their lives have been so far.

With no running water, no one to look after them, and, worst of all, no Wi-Fi how will they survive?

Netflix describes Snowflake Mountain as a “funny, warm-hearted reality show, which takes a bunch of 10 clueless kidults who aren’t yet living to their full potential, and puts them through their paces at a wilderness survival retreat to try and kickstart them into standing on their own two feet.”

At stake is a transformative cash prize, which is a bit backwards since they need to go through the journey of not being spoilt…

But whats reality TV without a massive cash prize at the end - right?!

8 eps are already out in NZ, and some people have already dubbed it cringeworthy, but others are loving the chaos.

It's been reviewed as "cringe-worthy" all over the internet and many say that Netflix made the wrong decision greenlighting this "garbage", but isn't that what makes reality TV gold?
