At halftime, the Black Ferns looked unstoppable with a lead of 22-0.
The final 46-0 scoreline represented New Zealand's biggest win over Australian in women's sevens.
They denied the Aussie's possession and made the most of their own opportunities to open a huge advantage at the break.
The result means New Zealand still trail Australia by four points on the overall IRB World Series standings, heading to the year's final event at Paris, June 8-10.
