The Black Ferns won the women's sevens in Japan and we’re so proud

Sport 23/04/2018

The Black Ferns are making us proud on the international stage for sevens rugby.

After winning gold at the Commonwealth Games, New Zealand are back at it again beating France 24-12 in the final in Kitakyushu for the Japan Sevens. Ties in the last two minutes from Portia Woodman and Tyla Nathan-Wong helped the Black Ferns Sevens smash France in the finals.

As per tradition, the Black Ferns celebrated with a Haka.

Shout out to the team who went through the tournament unbeaten; we look forward to seeing more impressive results from the side.
