Going bald? McDonalds could cure it

Everyone loves McDonald's but who would have thought that it could help us more besides just filling an empty stomach.

The Daily Record reports that a group of Japanese scientists have performed new research that suggests that a chemical that is found in the chips you love to chow down from your local Macca's might cure baldness.

The scientists have regrown hair on mice by using the chemical 'dimethylpolysiloxane' which is used in the vessel the fries are cultured in. The chemical is added to our beloved fries for safety reasons to prevent cooking oil from foaming.

Based on these preliminary experiments on mice it could suggest that this therapy will also work on people.

So if you're hair is getting a bit scarce up there, then you might not feel so guilty next time you munch down on McD's.
