LeBron James' house attacked by racist vandals

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are preparing for Game 1 of their NBA Finals rematch with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night but LeBron has been left nothing less of shook after as his Los Angeles home was vandalized with a racial slur.

According to the LAPD, the front gate to LeBron's house was spray-painted with the 'N-word', the gate was promptly covered up and luckily, the James' family were not home at the time.

"No matter how much money you have, no matter how famous you are, no matter how many people admire you, being black in America is tough. And we’ve got a long way to go for us as a society and us as African-Americans until we feel equal in America. But my family is safe, and that’s what’s important."

Game 1 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for Friday morning NZ time.
