Ahead of their clash against the Chiefs in Fiji on Friday night, the Crusaders have been welcomed to the country with a traditional kava session.
And fullback Israel Dagg took a liking to it.
Receiving the cup of kava from a member of the welcoming committee, it was a matter of straight down the hatch for Dagg, who's already been ruled out of the match against the Chiefs - only in Fiji for promotional activities..
To the amusement of teammates including Fijian-born Seta Tamanivalu, the fullback took a moment to take in the impact of the kava before going on with the ceremony.
The fullback is likely to make a return for the clash with the Crusaders' team expected Wednesday afternoon.
