Steven Adams has been reported to be suffering a concussion after a gnarly fall on the court against the Sacramento Kings.
Steven Adams will miss the Oklahoma City Thunder match against the LA Clippers after being sidelined with concussion.
The injury occurred at the beginning of the third quarter in the team's win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday (NZ time) after Adams got caught in between two of the opposition's big men while the Thunder were on attack.
Adams appeared to hit his head against the floor and remained on the down after the Kings regathered the ball on attack.
According to Thunder personnel, Adams will miss the match and will be assessed again before their big match against the Golden State Warriors.
Adams is widely regarded as the Thunder's second most important player behind superstar Russell Westbrook.
The Thunder currently sit sixth in the Western Conference standings with a win-loss record of 25-17.
