Kanye West is 'heartbroken' seeing his kids bonding with Pete Davidson

Headlines 09/06/2022

As you probably know by this point, Kanye West is not a fan of Pete Davidson - his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian's, new boo. As such, the Chicago-born artist is reportedly struggling to watch his kids bond with the former SNL comedian.

Due to the celebrity status of everyone involved,  a few paparazzi pics of Pete hanging out with Ye's kids have surfaced, including these ones of him and Saint, Kanye’s oldest son.

A source told Hollywood Life that seeing how quickly his kids have bonded with Pete has been upsetting for Kanye.

For Pete and the kids to get so close, so fast, is deeply unsettling for Kanye.

"It’s really difficult seeing photos of them together everywhere he goes, and he just wishes things were different," they said.

Another ‘insider’ told the magazine a similar story.

Kanye is still having trouble accepting that he can’t fix this and get his family back together.

"He’s still very heartbroken and trying everything he can to stall the proceedings."

Kanye has never shied away from showing the world he loves his kids, referencing them in songs, and a couple of times showing them having fun on social media.

Back in February, Kanye went on a couple of now-infamous (and deleted) Instagram rants about Davidson, who he lovingly nicknamed ‘Skete’.

The rants included sharing text conversations with Pete and Kim. In one screenshotted message, Kanye told Pete he would not allow the kids to meet him.

You might also remember Kanye made a music video where a clay-motion version of him kidnaps and beheads Pete - which is prettyyyy messed up.

Vory, an up-and-coming rapper who has collaborated with Kanye, said that the multi-Grammy award-winning artist and producer is stepping back from the music and limelight for a bit to work on himself.

“We’ve been talking through my best friend who’s also his assistant, because he hasn’t been wanting to talk to anybody,” Vory told Complex.

He’s taking a year off … he’s battling his own shit. That’s my dog, I learned a lot from him.
