Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion win big at the BET Awards with WAP

Headlines 06/10/2021

Cardi B is the first female artist in history to win best hip-hop video twice at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards took place earlier today and both Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion won three awards for their song WAP. The song won song of the year, best hip hop video, and best collaboration.

Drake has dominated the category and has won five awards for best hip-hop video. Other notable winners include Kanye West, Lil Wayne, T.I., and Kendrick Lamar who have also won the category twice.

It's also the second year in a row that an all-female pairing has won best collaboration. Megan Thee Stallion had won last year with the "Savage" remix that featured Beyoncé.

Congratulations to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion for making history at the BET Hip-Hop awards today. We can't wait to see what they do next!
