A video of a little (only in size, not in mana) 3-year-old boy performing a karakia has gone viral due to the almost un-believably mature nature of his delivery.
Te Urunga o te Rā Ahipene was at a wānanga in Brisbane when the video and karakia took place.
The video itself has already amassed 130K views on Facebook, after only being uploaded on Wednesday night.
Te Uranga's parents Gaylene and Andre Ahipene spoke to Māori Television, saying they were deeply appreciative of the public response to the video:
"It kind of blows me away sometimes - this is him on the daily. Sometimes it really takes my breath away because it’s just Urunga. When he stands to do- whether it’s whaikōrero, karakia or waiata- it’s just next level for me" his mother said.
What an incredible young rangatira! The future is in good hands.
