A South African guy has been arrested and will appear in court after allegedly scamming his way to free KFC feeds from KFC for over a year.
The unnamed 27-year-old is reported to have told KFC workers that he was "sent from head office" and carrying out "quality checks to make sure the chicken was up to standard." But that doesn't do justice to the lengths this guy went to get free chicken.
It's alleged this guy carried an ID card from 'head office' and would dress 'very smart' for his visit. Perhaps more impressive though, according to Xpouzar, this bloke's mate was a part-time limo driver and would drop him off in style to every KFC he'd visit.
Xpouzar also managed to interview an employee from one of the KFC stores and it sounds like this guy had his game plan sorted.
"When he arrived we would all try to act our best so that we didn't piss off the man from head office - he was so convincing because he was so confident, and even colleagues from other branches of KFC know him."
"When he came in, he rushed to the kitchen and checked everything, taking notes and then asked for samples of whatever he wanted. He probably worked for KFC before because he knows everything."
The story has since gone viral, with may on twitter labeling this guy a 'legend'.
