The US House of Representatives has voted to impeach Donald Trump.
It is only the third time in US history a president has been impeached.
Trump faces votes on two articles of impeachment: Abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
On the abuse of power article the House passed the necessary 216 votes in favour of impeaching Trump.
There were 230 votes in favour and 197 against.
All votes for the first article have now been cast.
Representatives are now voting on the second article.
Earlier today, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Congress had "no choice" but to impeach Trump.
On Tuesday (local time) the US President sent a letter to Pelosi, accusing Democrats of a "with hunt" and portraying himself as a victim of an attempted coup.
In order for the impeachment to move ahead to the next stage, only one article needed to pass the House.
The impeachment trial will now move to the Senate.
