Ever wanted Samuel L. Jackson to yell at you while you're cleaning the house? Yeah neither, but that could soon happen with a new update proposed for Amazon's cloud-based digital assistant "Alexa."
Amazon plans to add a few more celebrity guest voices to the platform in 2020, Variety reports. Alexa’s Jackson “voice pack” will be available later this year for a special 99 cent intro price, in both clean and explicit versions.
This was all made possible with Amazon's new Neural Text-to-Speech technology, which will also make Alexa's OG voice sound more 'human,' and will replicate speech inflictions of actual people.
So if you say "Lesgoooooo" to Alexa enough times she might just start saying it back...
To install the Jackson voice pack, users can say, “Alexa, introduce me to Samuel L. Jackson,” and decide whether they want him to use explicit or censored language.
