Safe to say A$AP Rocky is in a tight spot right now, spending the last couple days in the custody of Swedish police. The Harlem native and his entourage were in Sweden this week when a video emerged online showing Rocky and his crew assaulting a man in the street.
The men in question, who Rocky described as "drug addicts," were seen stalking and following the rapper around, words were said, and the situation eventually escalated into violence. A second video actually shows the rapper trying to reason with the two men first, despite the fact they had already attacked Rocky's security guard.
The second video hasn't proven to be enough for Swedish police to release the "Goldie" rapper, and according to TMZ, prosecutors are banking on him spending the next two weeks in a Sweden jail and if he's convicted of assault, he can spend a total of six years in prison.
Rocky will remain in custody for the duration of the investigation, which is strange considering police in Sweden are generally only allowed to keep you for three days.
