It appears justice is being served swiftly in the case of Nipsey Hussle's murder, with suspected killer Eric Holder facing one count of murder, and two counts of attempted murder. According to Variety, California prosecutors wasted little time in charging Holder with murder, only 4 days after the tragic altercation took place in South LA.
"The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Holder with four counts, including one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. Two men were also injured in the shooting outside Marathon Clothing at Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue. The two victims are identified in the criminal complaint as Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva."
Holder reportedly fled the scene, evading police until Tuesday afternoon, and remains in custody on $5 million.
"We believe this to be a dispute between Mr. Hussle and Mr. Holder," Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said Tuesday. "It appears to be a personal matter between the two of them. I’ll leave it at that."
Holder is currently being held in solitary confinement for his own safety, after the Crips had called for a "green light" to be placed on his life, asking other members to kill him on sight.
