John Cena is following in fellow WWE star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's footsteps by joining hit action movie franchise Fast & Furious.
Vin Diesel announced the casting news with an emotional Instagram video, in which he talks about his deceased co-star Paul 'Pablo' Walker.
"Guys, as you know, I'm always thinking Fast - thinking about the responsibility of making something iconic and deserving of your loyalty," says Diesel in the clip.
"I feel like Pablo, [from] up there, sends me someone. Another soldier for the fight for truth. And today, someone came by... that speaks to what Pablo would've brought me."
He then moves the camera to reveal Cena standing behind him, who winks and performs his WWE 'You can't see me' taunt.
Johnson has said he won't be starring in Fast & Furious 9, which will hit cinemas in 2020. Instead, the Jumanji star will appear alongside Jason Statham in Fast & Furiousspin-off Hobbs & Shaw, which is being released later this year.
Diesel and the other core Fast & Furious cast like Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson aren't billed as starring in Hobbs & Shaw.
