DJ Khaled has established himself as one of Rap's most meme-able people, to the point where he's almost more famous for his social media antics than he is for his impressive musical catalog. But now the music producer and social media influencer is expanding his repetoire to acting, announcing that he has joined the cast of Bad Boys for Life.
"May I remind you, it's only Jan. 15th, 2019. Y'all have no idea what's coming," he wrote in his Twitter announcement. "I'm coming for the Oscars!! God is the greatest!"
Khaled joins franchise staples and Hollywood heaveyweights Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, as Vanessa Hudgens, Paola Nuñez, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, and Jacob Scipio. The action-comedy began filming Monday and is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
We have no idea how good Khaled's acting is gonna be, but if it's anything like his Snapchat stories it's guaranteed to be certified gold.
