Your New Year's Eve events guide

Headlines 23/12/2018

You likely have had this day planned for months, because noone does New Year's like us Kiwis. But if you're still undecided on where you'll be ringing in the New Year, we've put together a guide of all the biggest events around the country, no matter what you're in to!

Rhythm and Vines, Gisborne
When: 29th - 1st January
It's the biggest festival in the country for a reason. It's the first city in the world to see the sunrise on the new year, which is special in itself. But the main drawcard is obviously the massive line-up of huge international artists, as well as the stunning location in the Waiohika Estate Vineyard where you can camp amongst the vines. An absolute must-do at least once.

Unfortunately some of the faves from the past like the Whangamata and Mt Maunganui beach concerts aren't running this year, which is why they haven't made an appearance on the list. That's just a reason to try something new though!

Happy New Year team, be safe (but not TOO safe).
