Black Eyed Peas drop first album in 8 years "MASTERS OF THE SUN VOL.1"

Headlines 29/10/2018

After an 8 year hiatus and a lineup reshuffle, the Black Eyed Peas are back with a new album MASTERS OF THE SUN VOL.1. Featuring guest spots by Nas, Slick Rick, the late Phife Dawg, Nicole Sherzinger and more, the album is a return to the spotlight for the group.

Their last album, The Beginning, dropped in 2010 and was met with critical backlash, despite respectable sales numbers. But for their new project, the group reverted to their original lineup of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, dropping Fergie in the process.

It's unclear why she is no longer part of the group, although it's safe to assume one of the contributing factors would be her solo career (or maybe her rendition of the US national anthem).
