Will Smith makes his stand up debut during Dave Chappelle event

Headlines 21/09/2018

It's no secret that Will Smith is one crack up SOB, he's been making audiences laugh ever since his iconic role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Despite being in numerous comedic roles, and being one of the most entertaining talk show guests in the world, one area of comedy the Fresh Prince is yet to touch is perhaps it's most pure form, stand-up.

That all changed however during a Dave Chappelle-hosted event in LA on Wednesday night, where Chappelle invited several celebrities to perform.

Performers included Jon Stewart, Michelle Wolf, Katt Williams, Michael Che, and John Mayer, who played the guitar and hit the crowd with the occasional one-liner.

But the biggest talking point was Will Smith as he also made his stand-up debut, as he filmed for a new show called The Bucket List. Apparently, getting on stage and cracking jokes was an important goal on Smith's list. His wife Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow were in attendance as well.

Will joked about his son Jaden not allowing him on the "Icon" single, his wife's new talk show Red Table Talk, and also touched on his recent social media prominence.

No footage has been released as of yet, and we're unsure if he plans to continue in this craft, but I think we speak for everyone when we say we wanna see more!
