Dr. Dre has donated a whopping $10 million to help the Compton Unified School District build a performing arts center for Compton High.

The centre is supposed to built by 2020 and will serve around 2,500 students.

“My goal is to provide kids with the kind of tools and learning they deserve,” Dre said in a statement. “The performing arts center will be a place for young people to be creative in a way that will help further their education and positively define their future.”

Even though Dre didn't actually attend the high school, Eazy-E did, and in addition to his personal contribution, he will be helping in raising the extra funds to complete the project.
