Disney has just dropped an official teaser for the 'Moana' sequel and has announced that the movie is set to release on November 27, 2024 at the theatres.
“Moana remains an incredibly popular franchise,” The Walt Disney Company Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger said.
Moana 2 comes to theatres this November," he added.
Along with Moana and Maui, there will be a brand new crew joining this new journey.
The official statement said:
"Walt Disney Animation Studios’ epic animated musical “Moana 2” takes audiences on an expansive new voyage with Moana, Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced".
