Free diabetes course in Korean

A free course for people with type 2 diabetes, held in Korean, is on 26 June, 9am–3.30pm at Comprehensive Care, Building A, 42 Tawa Drive, Albany.

Free presentation on brain development

Le Va is holding two free sessions focusing on brain development in children and adolescents. Both sessions are on 8 June: The Early Years Last Forever runs from 10am–12noon and Unravelling the Adolescent Brain runs from 12noon–2pm at Le Va, Harakeke House, 15 Ronwood Ave, Manukau.

Free mental health workshops

Blueprint for Learning’s one-day MH101 mental health workshop is for frontline government and social agency staff who have not received any mental health training. Funded by the Ministry of Health, the course helps people recognise and respond to signs of mental illness. The next workshop is on 17 July, 8.30am–4.30pm, Harakeke House, 15 Ronwood Ave, Manukau.
