The album represents a confident, playful, and fresh collection of grooves that sits right in the pocket of the type of songs that are currently lighting up dance floors and charts around the world. Noticeably the sound of ‘Let The Music Play’ is the sound of now. It’s the mash-up of dance/pop and R&B that’s currently sweeping the globe. “The thing is you have to be relevant if you want people to listen to you,” Stan says by way of explanation about the music on this new album. “I love this music and I’ve been working on it since I brought out my last album. I think some people may have me boxed into the music I did on my first album ‘Introducing’ and for me that was a covers album that was never me as an artist. The first album I did as an artist was ‘From The Inside Out’, and now with this new album I really feel I am unleashing who I am as a 21 year old.”Stan Walker’s debut album ‘Introducing’ was released in 2009 and certified 3 x platinum in New Zealand. Follow up ‘From The Inside Out’ was released in 2010 and debuted at number 1, going on to surpass platinum sales. Ends“Let The Music Play” track listing:1. On Our Way2. Loud3.
