Rihanna opts for public transport in London

Rihanna left her chauffeur behind on Tuesday in favour of taking London's public transport to rehearsals ahead of her Brit Awards performance.

The singer, wearing an oversized baseball jacket, hotpants and suspenders to hold up her thigh-high black socks, hopped on the Jubilee Line on the London Underground and joined locals as she made her way to the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, hours before she was due onstage for the British music industry's big night.

And the Umbrella hitmaker enjoyed a relatively peaceful ride - surprised commuters left Rihanna alone as her bodyguard watched over her.

Rihanna is becoming somewhat of a regular on the Tube - she took the Underground last October as she made her way to the same venue for her U.K. tour.
