No Beef between Drake and Common

Despite the subliminal Diss track Common has released and blatantly calling out Drake on his lyrical emcee level, Drake is adamant you won’t be hearing anything from him – it’s not worth his breath?

“Despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a ‘hip-hop moment’ or a ‘battle for the sake of musical integrity’… it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album,” Drizzy said about his decision to stop the beef…

This whole thing started off with Common’s release of his single “Sweet” and then with Drake’s retaliation on Rick Ross’ “Stay Scheming’” off his Rich Forever mixtape, then Common went at Drizzy again on an unofficial remix of “Stay Scheming,’” as well.

Speculation on how this all began is because of Common’s ex-girlfriend and Drake’s rumoured fling, Serena Williams, although Common has denied the allegations.
