JAY SEAN NAMED ARTIST OF THE DECADE AT ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS

R&B star Jay Sean was the toast of the U.K.'s Asian Music Awards on Thursday after scooping two top prizes.

The Down hitmaker was crowned the British Artist of the Decade at the annual ceremony in London, and was also named Best Male, although he was unable to attend the event as he is on tour in Australia.

Other big winners included rapper M.I.A., who won Best Video for her Bad Girls promo, and singer/actress Preeya Kalidas, who was named Best Female.
