Anne Hathaway eyes catwoman spin-off
Anne Hathaway is "very interested" in reprising her role as Catwoman after The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan tipped her for a spin-off movie.
The filmmaker recently sang Hathaway's praises for her role as Batman's feline nemesis, insisting she deserves a solo movie after putting in an "incredible" performance as the slinky villain.
Nolan has now completed his Batman trilogy and is stepping away from the franchise, but the actress admits she would love to sign up for a spin-off if she was working with "the right people".
She tells Digital Spy, "I'm very interested! I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it's with the right people. She lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."
